In this way\, we gain awareness of our body\, our breath and our thoughts. Poses are generally held for a longer durations than in a typical yoga class. The focus is on lengthening connective tissue\; tendons\, ligaments and fascia surrounding the muscles. Body weight and gravity assist you to deepen into the poses.
