Annie Jr., presented by the Penguin Project with Blue Springs City Theatre, brings the heartwarming story of Little Orphan Annie to life with a unique and inspiring twist. In this special production, every role is performed by a talented young cast of artists with disabilities, supported on stage by dedicated peer mentors who guide and encourage them throughout the performance. Set during the Great Depression, Annie Jr. follows the journey of a spirited orphan named Annie as she finds friendship, family, and hope in unexpected places. Join us for an unforgettable evening of theater that celebrates resilience, empowerment, and the joy of performance. Through beloved songs like "Tomorrow" and "It’s the Hard-Knock Life," our Penguin Project actors bring their talent, courage, and enthusiasm to the stage, creating a show that will inspire and uplift audiences of all ages!
