This is the first part of a book club discussion about "Dear America: Notes of an Undocumented Citizen" by Jose Antonio Vargas.
"Dear America, Notes of an Undocumented Citizen" by Jose Antonio Vargas is a profoundly moving and eye-opening memoir that offers a firsthand account of the challenges and complexities faced by undocumented immigrants in the United States. Through Vargas's personal narrative, readers gain insight into the fear, uncertainty, and resilience experienced by millions living in the shadows of society. Vargas's writing is both poignant and courageous as he shares his journey of self-discovery, grappling with questions of identity, belonging, and the pursuit of the American Dream.
This will be a half-way point discussion via Zoom covering up to page 116 or Part 2, Chapter 16.
