Blue Springs City Theatre is honored to host a Happy Hour with Dr. Andy Morgan, the founder of the nationwide "Penguin Project", which combines his professional expertise with his passion for theater to give children with disabilities an opportunity to experience the performing arts. Join us at The Pizza Shoppe, 1105 West Main, Blue Springs from 4:30-6pm on Friday, 2/28/2025 to learn more about how you can be a part of bringing live theater the community that is inclusive for all. Dr. Andy is a Professor Emeritus of Clinical Pediatrics and the former Head of the Division of Child Development at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria. He has been the primary medical specialist in central Illinois involved in the diagnosis and treatment of children with disabilities for over 35 years. He combines his passion for community theater with his desire to give children with disabilities an opportunity to experience the performing arts. BSCT is partnering with the "Penguin Project" to bring the production "Annie, Jr." to the stage March 20-23 at Blue Springs South High School Performing Arts Center.
