2025 Cannabis Related Legislation & What Is Anticipated for 2026
Last year SB 54 and HB 593 were introduced in the Missouri Legislature to regulate all intoxicating products that come from cannabis plants. Several local jurisdictions are also considering legislation to regulate or prohibit the sale of hemp-based products.

Attend this meeting to hear from Andrew Mullins, Director of the Missouri Cannabis Trade Association (MoCannTrade) discuss the details of these bills and potential legislation for 2026.

The Purpose of the Legislative Task Force is to:
- Study local, state and federal legislative issues of interest to businesses
- Encourage information sharing about business and community issues among the membership.
- Stay alert to issues that will affect our members and the business community and make recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding such issues.
