This presentation will provide finance options for both retail and commercial businesses. Learn about the common loan programs available, such as SBA, equipment financing, and lines of credit. We will also discuss the latest updates related to loan forgiveness for the PPP and EIDL loans.
In addition, we will discuss non-banking options that you may have never heard of such as factoring, purchase order funding, merchant cash advances and consumer finance loans. These types of financing programs are completely different than traditional options. Neither personal or business credit are important! Instead, approval is based on your customer’s creditworthiness. Participants should bring a notebook, pen and smartphone.
Kim Deveney is the managing partner of American Funding Solutions LLC located in Blue Springs, MO. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia receiving a BS in Accounting. She earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from Webster University in Kansas City. She worked as accountant for State Street for 11 years before starting American Funding Solutions LLC in August of 2003. Since 2003, Kim has helped numerous small businesses improve their cash flow with factoring.
Cody Raithel is a Vice President and Commercial Lender with Central Bank of the Midwest. He assists local businesses in the Kansas City metro with their financing needs. This includes construction loans for residential builders or commercial projects, real estate investments, line of credits for working capital uses, equipment purchases and business acquisitions. He also has experience with the SBA program that helps small businesses get qualified for commercial loans. The SBA can help with business acquisitions, purchasing properties to be used by the borrower's business, refinance existing debt to help cash flow and other areas.Date and Time
