Everyone knows that a little bit of cardio is good for you, but what exactly is cardiorespiratory training? How much of it should you be doing per week? What kind of cardio is the “best” for you? Can cardiovascular training be low-impact? Movement is medicine - we’ll talk about what cardio is and isn’t, explore ways to increase your N.E.A.T., learn how your heart rate informs your cardiorespiratory fitness, introduce recovery & breathing techniques to help you move better, advice on injury prevention and tackle some common misconceptions about fitness in general. Workshop includes group discussion, handout notes, recovery kit (biofreeze, kinesio tape, herbal supplements and more) and movement-based exploration of cardiorespiratory exercises so GET READY TO MOVE!!!
Each attendee will also receives a BONUS 15 min infrared sauna session ($20 value)! Afterward enjoy infused water, heart healthy snacks & refreshments!
Please wear comfortable, stretchy clothes and running/athletic shoes. Bring a towel, water, and exercise/yoga mat. Recommend having a light meal before workshop and hydration strongly advised! Class is outside weather permitting.Date and Time
