This unique experience will take you through a mindful practice encouraging you to slow down and transition into the changing winter season as we prepare for new beginnings. This is a powerful time to allow for self-reflection, soul nourishing, internal healing, release old thought patterns and align with our light and our heartfelt intentions. Take this time to reflect on the year you’ve had. To decide how you will finish this year, and by extension, how you will bring in the new year.
Yin Yoga Revive - slow-paced practice that targets the connective tissues, such as ligaments and joints, that respond best to mindful steady movement. These passive poses are held for several minutes with the use of yoga props to allow for comfort while melting into deeper stretches. While in these poses, Neda will perform compression massage, acupressure to open energy and body adjustments to ease into a restful state. Yin postures are specific to opening the kidney and bladder meridians in connection with the water element for the winter season. This practice will offer calmness and relaxation to help release tension as you move into a final resting restorative Savasana. Enjoy the meditative melodies of sound bath while resting.
Reiki Healing - Reiki is a non-invasive, complementary therapy that involves a practitioner placing their hands on or near a patient's body to transfer healing energy. The word "reiki" comes from the Japanese words rei, meaning universal, and ki, which refers to a flow of life force energy. Neda will guide you into relaxing restorative yoga postures along with guided breathing meditation that will ease your body and mind into a state of complete restful bliss while Christina – Reiki Master performs energy healing to bring you a sense of peace and well-being. There will be plenty of props and warm herbal compress packs to help give you support and comfort but feel free to bring items from home.
Afterward enjoy light snacks and a special warm herbal tea blend prepared by Christina - Certified Herbalist. Each attendee will also receive a special healing gift!
Please wear comfortable layered stretchy clothing (socks) and bring a yoga mat, towel, blanket, water, journal and any yoga props needed for comfort (available @TW) – Hydration Advised!Date and Time
