Steve Thurmon has been doing tax returns since High School with his Dad in Higginsville, MO. Prior to opening my practice in 1981, I was a Manager with KPMG in Kansas City. I am also a 17 year veteran of the Army Reserves, as a JAG NCO for the 139th Medical Group and recipient of the Army Achievement Medal for my service. I also was an Adjunct Professor at the Blue River Community College teaching students in accounting and taxation. Other achievements include past president of the University of Central Missouri alumni board, past president of the Blue Springs Country Club and a member of the FBI Citizens Advisory Board in Kansas City, MO.
