In January of 2008 I bodly stepped out of my comfort zone and into the world of Mary Kay Cosmetics. I graduated from Univerversity of Missouri-Kansas City School of Pharmacy in 1988 and have enjoyed my career as a pharmacist but had hit the proverbial glass ceiling years earlier. While I did not originally see myself making a living in direct sales I quickly saw that owing my own business had unlimited possibilities. I also realized that the company was solid and that the products were of high quality. As a pharmacist I appreciated the research and development. So, I dove in and have had so much fun helping women (and men) with skin care needs, I have also learned so much about makeup trends and applications due to the training the company offers the consultants. I am now looking to start weaning myself out of the pharmacy world and building my Mary Kay business in my community!
